The dry install film has all the same great qualities as the original but doesn’t require any liquid to activate the adhesive. This speeds up the installation process considerably but also leaves less room for error.

Since you don’t use water you have to get the placement right the first time and that can be difficult on large devices or ones with a lot of little pieces.
