what's the difference between original and dry install?
Our dry install film is different in a few ways from our original film. The level of clarity and protection is the same but the install process is a bit different. The dry install film doesn’t require any liquid to activate the adhesive on the guard. This makes the process faster and eliminates the need for drying time. It also gives you less room for error when installing your guard. When you use water, it’s easy to slide the guard around or peel it off and reposition it before it’s stuck in place. With the dry install material you get one chance! The dry install material also works best on small devices. For anything larger than a phone we recommend the original material. It definitely saves time so if you have a steady hand and prefer not to expose your phone to any type of liquid, go with the dry install film.
